Which is to say, the playlist will be selected based on your car, but the song will be random.

Here is my 2015 VW Passat.
If you want a random song in return, let me know.
(Edit: Kinja’d for the first time ever. Nice.)

Never assumed I know anything when I’ve been drinking. Nonetheless, you get the Honda of my playlists “Offline” the reliable playlist of good music I keep synced for times when I don’t have a data connection.
You get The Love Song by K-OS. This is a great song and you should feel great for getting it.

Enough that you get a song from Trading Places, my playlist of songs that alternates between jazz instrumental and vocal versions of the same song.
You get young Frank Sintra singing “Everything Happens to Me” off of that playlist

I will happily take a random song.
Since you have a Passat, you get a song off of my Pavement playlist, because Pavement has a song called “Passat Dream” about Passats.
Your song is Starlings of the Slipstream, which is a great song.

Thank you very much.
In return, I hit shuffle on my Top 50 playlist that I listen to whenever I play Horizon 3.
Your song is “Your Love” by The Outfield.
It’s a really catchy and nice 80s song. I hope you enjoy it!

Blur has a song called Swallows in a Heatwave, which has the lyric
“I don’t have a history
For religion
Going out to get one
Get into my Volvo
Drive into the mountains
Watch Swallows in the Heatwave”
You get a song shuffled off of my Offline playlist, since Blur, as my favorite band, shows up frequently on my offline playlist.
Your song is
Alton Ellis’ fantastic reggae cover of These Eyes.

I kind of want an Xbox and Horizon 3 just to make a playlist to use when playing it. This is also a perfect song for me, since I love 80s music.
In return, you get a shuffled song off of my 80s playlist.
More Than This by Roxy Music

Since this is a Saab, you get a song off of my “Starred” playlist. Spotify is a Swedish company and Saab is a Swedish car. Back in the early dates of Spotify, if you starred a song, it got saved to a starred playlist. Like Saab, starring is now defunct, but the playlist survives.
You get
There is an End by The Greenhornes and Holly Golightly.

You like 80s music? This is excellent news.
I actually recently got an Xbox One and Horizon 3. I’ve had this playlist since Forza 4. I use it for every Forza. It never gets old. This is the first time “Down Under” by Men at Work actually fits in with a game.
In return for your 80s song, I hit shuffle again. This time, you get “Money For Nothing” (extended version) by Dire Straits. It’s one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time. I will gladly sing the entire 8 minutes at the top of my lungs. I do that all day anyway. The 8 minute version is the best version.
God, that guitar riff gives me the chills every time I hear it.
Please enjoy it.

Your Lexus will be around until the music of today is as old as music from the 70s, so you get a song off of my 70s playlist.
You get
Come and Get Your Love by Redbone.

Minis are products of the 60s that have enjoyed an unnaturally long lifespan, as your awesome 1999 example shows, so you get my Serge Gainsbourg playlist, because he was also a product of the 1960s, but lived a much longer life than you would expect from an alcoholic chain smoking Frenchman.

Kinja is being all Kinja, so I didn’t see this until just now.
Being a Galaxie, you obviously get a song off of my Motown playlist
You get Smiling Faces Sometimes by The Undisputed Truth. I would have preferred a 60s song, but the shuffle function is a harsh mistress.

Your car gets my heart and therefore gets something off of my Offline playlist, since these are all songs I love.
Your song, appropriately, is Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon

Since an Allroad is a car that can break in ways you wouldn’t expect, it gets a song off of my “Others” playlist. These are songs I liked, but couldn’t categorize elsewhere.
Your song is
Strange Fruit for David by The Wave Pictures

You get a song from my Latin playlist. I once rented a Clio in Spain, and I think the Clio and the Versa are on the same platform.
You get

Excellent Latin pic for a half Latino! Sounds like the music I hear at El Pollo Inka.

I like the precedence I’ve set of giving horrifyingly unreliable German cars songs off of my “others” list.

Not my actual car/photo, but it’s exactly the same, but picture a shitty Ontario license plate with lettering that’s peeling off because they’re shit in place of the regular looking plate there.
